monta amongst the top 5%

For the third time in a row, monta was awarded the silver medal by the ecovadis rating platform for sustainability. Having achieved 68 points, we are amongst the top 5% of the assessed companies in the sector “production of plastic goods”. Compared to the first assessment, we gained 14 points, confirming the success of our permanent efforts towards sustainability.

The rating considers four areas, in all of which monta is above the industry sector’s average. Regarding the category “environment”, we achieved 80 points and belong to the top 4% companies of our sector. In comparison to the first rating, we improved by 20 points in this area. The same advancement was made in the category “sustainable procurement”. Concerning the topic “ethics”, we achieved 70 points and belong to the top 6% of the companies in the sector “production of plastic goods”.

Sustainability has been deeply implemented in monta’s corporate policy for many years now. Since 1996, our environmental management system has been ISO 14001 certified, and our energy management system has been ISO 50001 certified since 2015. In 2019, we launched our environmental-friendly monta Greenline range which we have been compensating for by investing in accredited climate protection projects since 2021.
