The world is calling for new solutions that better protect our climate and our environment. This initiated the idea of developing sustainable adhesive tape alternatives – in 2019 the monta Greenline range was launched.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES MONTA GREENLINE PRODUCTS
monta Greenline products are characterised by their environmental friendliness in many ways: From the selection of raw materials as well as the material-saving application and the disposal path at the end of life, we ensure that monta Greenline adhesive tapes are demonstrably more environmentally friendly than commercially available adhesive tapes.
All monta Greenline tapes are made of a sustainable carrier, are coated with natural rubber adhesive and can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way via one or more disposal channels. The core and shipping carton including label are made from 100% recycled raw materials or come from sustainable sources.
Since August 2001 all monta Greenline tapes are carbon neutral.

THE MONTA GREEN LINE PRODUCT RANGE
The pioneer of the Greenline range is monta biopack®, launched at the end of 2019, the first certified sustainable self-adhesive tape made in Germany. It consists of around 90% renewable raw materials and is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions, certified by TÜV Austria.
At the suggestion of our customers, the monta biopack® range has been extended by the additional version Visibly Green, which self-communicates its environmental friendliness by a green imprint.
The monta paper tape range, which is produced from 65% renewable raw materials, is recyclable and demonstrably does not interfere with the waste paper recycling process.
