„Just to make you smile...”
An unemployed person is applying for a job as a cleaner at MICROSOFT. The boss invites him to an interview and to a practical test (to clean the floor). Finally he tells him: „ You got the job; give me your e-mail address and I will forward you a form to complete and will inform you at what time and where you have to present yourself on the first day.”
The unemployed person, full of despair, answers that he does have neither a computer nor an e-mail. The boss tells him that - without e-mail - he doesn’t exist virtually and therefore cannot get the job.
The man leaves in a desperate mood. He doesn’t know any longer what to do as he has only got 10 US-$ in the pocket. He decides to buy a box of 10 kg tomatoes in the supermarket and sells them in less than 2 hours tomato by tomato at the double price. He repeats this twice and comes home in the evening with 80 US-$. So he realized that he can also make his living this way. Every day he gets up earlier and comes home later multiplying his money day by day.
He buys a cart, changes it then against a truck and little later against a whole fleet of trucks. After just some years the man owns one of the biggest vegetable distribution centres in the USA. So he also thinks about the future of his family and decides to buy a life assurance.
He calls an adviser, chooses an assurance plan, and as the discussion comes to an end, the adviser asks for the e-mail address in order to forward the application form to the man.
The man answers, that he doesn’t have an e-mail. „Strange” tells him the adviser, „you have no e-mail but have succeeded in building up such an empire. Imagine, what you could have built, if you had an e-mail!!!”
The man thought about it and responded: „I would be a cleaner at MICROSOFT!”
Moral of the story no. 1:
Internet is not sorting out your life.
Moral of the story no. 2:
If you want to become a cleaner at MICROSOFT, invest in an e-mail.
Moral of the story no. 3:
If you haven’t got an e-mail but work a lot, you can become a millionaire.
